Distro ("Distro", "we", "us", "our") is a sole proprietorship operated by Adnan Khan, accessible at distr0.app. By using the Distro service ("Service") you ("you", "user") agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a contract.
Distro is a distribution co-pilot for software builders. It helps you plan, draft, and schedule posts across social and community channels, and includes AI-assisted drafting features. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected.
You must provide accurate information at sign-up and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you agree not to:
Distro uses third-party large language models to generate drafts, briefs, and notes. You are responsible for: (a) the prompts and inputs you submit; (b) reviewing and verifying outputs before publishing them; (c) ensuring you have the rights to any source material you upload; and (d) how outputs are used downstream. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased and are not a substitute for professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise). We may filter, throttle, or refuse outputs at our discretion, and we may suspend accounts that generate prohibited content or that we reasonably believe are infringing. If you believe content generated through the Service infringes your rights, contact us at the address below for takedown.
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and transmit your content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not use your private content to train foundation models.
We (and our licensors) retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, documentation, designs, and trademarks. No rights are granted to you except as expressly set out here.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our refund window. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We may suspend or terminate your access if: (a) you materially breach these Terms; (b) your payment fails and is not cured; (c) we reasonably believe your use creates a security, legal, or fraud risk; or (d) you repeatedly violate our acceptable use rules. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable export window.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the seller is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law grants you the right to sue in your place of residence.
